I love songs that grow as they progress...building instrumentally and flowing emotionally through ebbs and flows telling it's story...this is an example of that concept, I think?
It progresses from a single acoustic guitar to a full accompaniment of 15 tracks....The song is based on Psalm 119 the geographical center of the Bible...hope you like it...as usual I welcome all comments and suggestions...and as usual none of my songs are ever really finished...thanks...Dan

Dan, that song is majestic. The subject is as important a subject to think about and dwell on as there is. I'm with you on how beautiful it is to hear a song build like that one does. Then couple it with the content and the heartfelt delivery and you have something very special. Thank you! Mike

This is absolutely fantastic!

I loved your vocal and especially your lyrics, outstanding.

The mix was fantastic; loved the dynamics in this one. That is something that is lacking in much of today's music.

Loved it.

After clicking on the link the first thing I tried to do was figure out what page the Bible was opened to. Haha. I should've just read. OH< YEAH. I, too, am a big fan of songs that build and you constructed a beautiful structure with this one. Man, what a good song. Dynamic and passionate.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hey Marty...It looks like it's open to about the middle so I'm saying it's open at Psalm 119? Since that is the inspiration of this piece...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thank you Scott... I value your opinion and appreciate the support for the song...BiaB has opened up new vistas for me as a writer and producer but limited musician.

what i like about this is everything is in its place.
for example you kept the drums very subtle which is what the song calls for imho. i really like that aspect of the song.

nice stop/change at 2/20. nice dynamics at 3/46 on.

well done.

I think the build of instruments works really well here to add that exact emotional depth you were going for! Great job.

Dan,

Really nice vocals and BGVs.

The build is nicely done. Good production and arrangement. And well mixed.
The "pull-back" @ 3:50 is effective.

Good job all around.
